Key Responsibility
- SDWAN -Velocloud, Viptela, Versa, Meraki, Fortinet
- Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)
- Hands-on Experience in Network Monitoring and Alert Management · Experience in troubleshooting transport layer issue (WAN Link)
- Experience working on Large global MPLS/SD-WAN Projects
- Exposure on uCPE, WAN accelerators, Firewall technologies
- Ability to work with customers in activating services
- Planning, designing, and creating supporting documentation upgrades and increased network security
- Preferred implementation experience of SD-WAN on platform like Versa, Cisco-Viptela & Meraki MX, Velocloud, Fortinet etc.
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
- Arranging scheduled upgrades
- Investigating faults in the network
- Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases
- Reporting network status to key stakeholders
- Essential: The scheduler administrator requires an in-depth knowledge of Tivoli Workload Scheduler Z/OS (TWSz) , including related control and monitoring systems
- Must have at least 5-7 years of administration exp with Tivoli Workload Scheduler Z/OS (TWSz)functions to configure, maintain and troubleshoot job schedules on the mainframe platform
- Desired:
- Responsible for efficient and administration of TWS 10.1 in a TWS End-to-End environment supporting Production, Development and QA Environments
- The scheduling Administrator implements and analyzes complex application dependencies working independently with the application developers to optimize their batch job schedules
- The scheduling Administrator must evaluate every scheduling requests, exercising independent assessment and judgment to provide a comprehensive explanation for rejecting a request or proposing an alternate scheduling implementation
- Candidate must have proven ability to independently design and build jobs streams to solve complex workflow automation scenarios
- Exp with event-based scheduling
- Exp using CA-11 (CA Workload automation restart option for z/OS Schedulers)
- Ability to work with a diverse group of different skills, background departments and management levels
- Candidate must have an exp in mainframe batch environment, knowledge of TWS support operations, best practices and processes
- Exp with data analytics and strong excel skills
- Knowledge and usage of DWC v10.1 is a plus
- Knowledge of Segus TWT tool is a plus
- Exp with REXX coding is a plus
- Knowledge of JIRA, Agile methodology is a plus
