Job Description :
You will be part of Data Center Platform Architecture Integration and Validation team PAIV PAIV is responsible for Data center products architecture and platform validation
You will be responsible to create define and develops system validation environment and test suites Use and applies emulation and platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to spec Responsible for the development of methodologies execution of validation plans and debug of failures Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture Design and Presilicon Validation teams in improving postsilicon test content and providing feedback for future on die debug features
Qualifications :
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates The scope of the deliverable will vary based on the target platform and specific issue at hand. Hence the candidate must have a solid big picture across the System. While having that big picture, the candidate must also have good understanding in one or more the following areas:
Candidate must possess a Master's or Bachelors. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum Qualifications and skills : Software, Hardware and server architecture/microarchitecture experience in: -Multi-socket server architecture and memory hierarchy. -Different memory access methodologies and architectures (e.g. NUMA, UMA, memory pools ..etc). -Familiar with UNIX/Linux platforms, SW profiling, debugging tools, ability to understand kernel traces and Kernel debugging. -Understanding of different memory hierarchy, pools and SW use cases for different memory tiers. -Understanding of NUMA and UMA exposure to SW and/or OS and related use-cases. -Exposure to test Automation Frameworks, test design, test execution, CI/CD environments and familiarity with DevOps tools. -Exposure to different cloud environments and cloud workloads. -Knowledge of virtualization technologies, use-cases and workloads. Qualifications :
- Software, Hardware and server architecture/microarchitecture experience in:
- Software development working directly with hardware (e.g. HW validation, embedded software development and validation, etc.)
- Memory Controller / DDR (2/3/4/5) memory architecture and debug.
- Exposure to cloud workloads scaling. Exposure to scale out and scale up architectures.
- Exposure to SOA, containerization technologies, distributed systems. -DRAM architecture and uArch.
- Intel IA - IA32 architecture.
- Exposure to cloud infrastructure and cloud orchestration.
