About :
Physical Research Laboratory is a national research institute for space and allied science, supported by the Department of Space, Government of India. It manages the Udaipur Solar Observatory and its located in Ahmedabad. The ongoing research programmes in this Laboratory are astronomy, atmospheric science and aeronomy, earth science, solar system studies.PRL is involved in research related to five major fields of science they are Astronomy and astrophysics, Planetary sciences and Planex, Earth sciences, Planetary atmospheres and aeronomy, Quantum optics and quantum information.

Educational Qualification :
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Science or Engineering with at least a first-class (60%) or equivalent grades at both Bachelor’s and Master’s levels.
Those candidates expecting their Master’s degree by August 2021 are also eligible to apply, subject to having secured at least a first-class (60%) or equivalent grade(s) up to the last semester
