• Graduation from a recognized University/ Institute.

Knowledge and Test of Local Language: 

• The candidate applying for trainee seats in a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of that state as specified above in point “A”.
• Selected candidates must produce their 10th /12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified local language. Inability to produce a certificate evidencing knowledge of the language will then require to give a test of the local language during their Personal Interaction & Document Verification.
• Duration of Training: The duration of training is of one year. The apprentice shall be imparted On Job Training on different aspects of banking practices, products and processes.

Union Bank of India Apprentice Stipend:

The apprentices are eligible for stipend of Rs. 15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year. The apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances/benefits

Selection Process of Union Bank of India Careers:

Selection of candidates who apply for engagement of apprentices in the Bank after paying the requisite online examination fee shall have to undergo the selection process, which would comprise the following

Online Test (objective type):

• The online examination will consist of four tests i.e., General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude and Computer Knowledge.

The final Selection will be subject to: 

• Meeting the Cut off marks in the online examination to be decided by the Bank
• Satisfactory verification of the documents related to DoB/Category/Educational Qualification satisfying the eligibility criteria for an apprentice compared with the information furnished in the application
• Submission of Certificate/Passing of test evidencing knowledge of a local language.
• Submission of a medically fit Certificate from a practising registered General Physician.

Job Description:

• As a full-stack engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing experiences that enhance the productivity of our employees and drive employee engagement.
• Your role also impacts product and platform convergence, influencing the total cost of ownership. A successful candidate will possess an established background in developing customer-facing experiences, strong technical abilities, excellent project execution skills, effective communication skills, and the motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

Your day to day:

• Adopting internal methodologies, policies, guidelines, and security standards across all areas
• Participation of Agile ceremonies in support of building business/technology capabilities
• Responsible for deployment related activities including coordination of changes as applicable.
• Aligning duties with company, business, department, individual objectives, and goals
• Interaction with cross functional teams and business as needed.
• Provide production support as defined.

What do you need to bring:

• Strong work expertise in NodeJS, ReactJS Framework
• Experience with Javascript both client and server-side are required.
• REST APIs, Custom Web services development and integration is required.
• J2EE, Spring MVC and Spring Boot is required.
• Working experience with Kraken or similar framework is preferred.
• Work experience with creating UI supporting browser and device agnostics including Responsive UI
• UI/UX, HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap, ES6 Knowledge
• Experience in GITHUB is relevant.
• Mobile Development Experience and knowledge of Generative AI is a plus.
• Aptitude to learn new technologies and work in a fast paced environment.
