Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has announced notification for the Probationary Engineer posts. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engg qualifications can apply for this job. There are 350 vacancies to be filled. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on or before 31 January 2025. Education Qualification:
- Probationary Engineer (Electronics) in E-II Grade: B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc Engineering Graduate in Electronics/Electronics and Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Communication/Telecommunication
- Probationary Engineer (Mechanical) in E-II Grade: B.E/B.Tech/ B.Sc Engineering Graduate in Mechanical
Note: Candidates currently studying in the final semester / final year of BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering in the specializations mentioned above and who will be appearing for their final semester/final year exams in the month of May/June 2025 are also eligible to apply. In the event of selection, the candidates are required to produce the Degree Certificate/Provisional Degree Certificate at the time of Joining.
Age Limit (As on 01 January 2025): 25 years for General Candidates
Age Relaxation:
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
- In respect of PwBD candidates, upper age limit is relaxable by 10 years
- BEL Salary Details: Rs. 40,000/- to 1,40,000/-
Total Vacancies: 350 Posts
- Probationary Engineer E-II Grade:
- Electronics: 200 Posts
- Mechanical: 150 Posts
Note: The total number of posts in each specialization may be increased or decreased based on the actual requirement at the time of recruitment at the discretion of Management.
Selection process for BEL Careers:
- Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online applications have been accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the computer-based test.
- The minimum qualifying marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates is 35% and 30% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates in both computer-based tests and interviews separately
- Based on the performance in the computer-based test, candidates will be provisionally shortlisted for interview in a ratio of 1:5.
- Selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in both the computer-based test and interview
Computer Based Test:
- The weightage for the Computer-Based test is 85 marks and the interview is 15 marks.
- The computer-based test will be held tentatively in the month of March 2025
- The computer-based test is for a duration of 120 minutes comprising of 125 Questions (i.e 100 Technical Questions and 25 General Aptitude and Reasoning Questions).
- Each question will carry 1 mark and there will be negative marking for wrong answers; 1/4th mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- No marks will be awarded for unattempted / marked for review questions.
- The question paper will be bilingual i.e., English and Hindi only. However, in case of any error/variation in Hindi, the English version of the question shall be valid.
- Candidates should choose 5 test center nearest to their place of correspondence.
- Allocation of the test center will be done based on the availability of the test center

- For ST/SC/ExSM/PWD Candidates: Nil
- For Others: Rs. 1,180/-
- Mode of Payment: online via Payment Gateway through Net Banking, Debit Cards, Credit Cards, UPI as applicable.
