Indian Overseas Bank Apprentice Vacancy 2024 Notification:
Indian Overseas Bank announced notification for the Apprentice Vacancies 2024. Interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria may apply online from 28 August 2024 to 10 September 2024 on the official website (The application link is open on BFSI SSC of India). The age limit of the candidates should be 20 – 28 years. The selection process is based on the online written test. The selected candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs. 10,000 – 15,000/-. Educational Qualification:
- A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualifications recognized by the Central Government.
- The result of the qualification must have been declared between 01.04.2020 and 01.08.2024, wherein both the dates are inclusive, and the candidate must produce Mark Sheets and a Provisional /Degree Certificate issued from the University / College as and when required by the Bank.
Age Limit (As on 01 August 2024) – IOB Vacancy 2024:
Min. 20 year and Max. 28 years i.e. candidates having DoB between 02.08.1996 and 01.08.2004 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.

Selection Process of Indian Overseas Bank Careers:
- Selection will be based on an Online Examination & test of the local language wherever applicable and personal interaction, if any, as the Bank decides. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for Online Examination and personal interaction.
Online Test (objective type):
The online examination will consist of four tests: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge.
The total duration of the examination would be 60 minutes.

Test of Local Language:
- Candidates applying for training seats in a particular state should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of the state (to be specified when calling the applications).
- The local language test will be conducted after qualifying for the online written examination.
- The test for knowledge of the specified opted local language will be conducted as part of the selection process. It will be conducted during the process of document verification. Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged in an apprenticeship.
- Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language test
Application Fee – IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2024:
- PwBD Rs.400/- plus GST (18%) = Rs.472/-
- Female / SC / ST Rs.600/- plus GST (18%) = Rs.708/-
- GEN / OBC / EWS Rs.800/- plus GST (18%) = Rs.944/-
